Our Royal Court this year will include honorees from the area who are breast cancer survivors. Our Celebrate your Princess Walk is like no other, of course!
This is a family walk and even dogs are welcome. We will also have a Pink Pamper after-party with complimentary pampering stations. As a new addition this year, there will be a Pink Marketplace where vendors will be selling items such as jewelry, Yellow Box flip flops, and much more!

Cross Creek Ranch homeowners and their friends are invited to a free special concert featuring singer, Kenneth Scott, on Friday, June 11th, at 6-9am.
The concert will be held at the lakeside stage next to "The Hill" and Texas Traditions will be on location selling BBQ, burgers and beverages (cash only, please) so bring your family, lawn chairs and blankets for a fun-filled evening.
Kick off the 2010 Summer season at the 1st Annual Community Splash Day Resident Party on Saturday, May 29th.
Beat the summer heat by relaxing under the poolside shade areas, sliding down the 40 foot water slide and swimming in the Olympic size pool.
There will be music, food, soft drinks and ice cream, pool games and fun activities for all ages. The party will be held on Saturday, May 29th at the Cross Creek Ranch Pool from 11:00am – 2:00pm
The community is invited to join LaCenterra and Katy Area Moxie Moms for this special Mondays with Mommy Family Night Out featuring a concert under the stars for Mom on Saturday, May 8th at 6pm.

Mondays with Mommy is a free series of events and activities for preschoolers and the parents who love them. It is open to all parents and playgroups and is presented in partnership with Katy Area Moxie Moms. Series events take place on the second Monday of each month in Heritage Square unless otherwise noted.
The City of Fulshear and the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance sponsored the 2nd Annual Downtown Street Party on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. It was a very successful and well attended event. Cross Creek Ranch was there and ready to party in their festive green attire with one member sporting a flashy green hair piece. This great event brought in all ages and even some adorably festive pets. There were many merchant tables and lots of free goodies as well as live music by Sugar Land Brass Co.

The Cross Creek Arts Festival set for Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. may well prove to be an event not to be missed.
Under the direction of Mitch Cohen, founder and coordinator of the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights, Houston’s only and longest running monthly outdoor fine arts event now in its sixth year, this event at Cross Creek Ranch will offer the original works of up to 70 professional and emerging fine artists from across Texas. No reproduced or manufactured pieces are allowed.
Somerset Fine Art, a local fine art publisher of 37 years, now in Fulshear, Texas, has partnered with Cross Creek Ranch to provide local artwork by Texas artists. Featured in the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center will be the triptych title” Los Caballos “by Texas Artist Ragan Gennusa.
Ragan Gennusa, former football player for the Texas Longhorns and lifelong artist, creates beautiful western landscapes that complement this West Houston countryside. In 1986, Ragan was honored by the State Legislature’s selecting him as the 1986-87 Texas State Artist.
Stanley Elementary’s PTA raised over $30,000 at its Stetsons and Stilettos for the Stampede fall fundraiser Oct. 9 at Cross Creek Ranch. Radio personality Kevin Kline from the New 93Q Morning Zoo served as the celebrity master of ceremonies.
Cross Creek Ranch and Trendmaker Homes hosted the event at their welcome center. Decked out in everything from western attire to stilettos, guests enjoyed food donated from six local restaurants with live music from Gene Neptune and Joe Kilpatrick. The auction included six highly sought after live auction items and over 150 silent auction items donated from local businesses and various Stanley parents and faculty.
“It was amazing to see all the volunteers work tirelessly to make this event possible in just a few short months,” said PTA President Courtney Doyle. The money raised will benefit the students at Stanley Elementary, which is Katy ISD’s newest school. The campus opened this past August to students living in Cross Creek Ranch, Westheimer Lakes North and Cinco Ranch Southwest.
Cross Creek Ranch has teamed up with CHRISTUS St. Catherine to help fight breast cancer with the "Celebrate Your Princess" Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, October 31, 2009. The walk will begin at Cross Creek Ranch and end with a celebration to remember. Proceeds from the event will benefit the CHRISTUS St. Catherine Breast Cancer Awareness Fund, promoting community outreach, health, wellness and education.
An entire day of fun for the whole family is planned... pets are welcome too (leashed only please!). There will be tons of excitement in the Kids Zone - bounce house, rock wall, face painters and Disney princesses from KVPAC!!

The rainclouds were rolling in, but we somehow felt incredibly safe among the many rescue, medical and law enforcement professionals gathered at the Welcome Center during "Play" it Safe Day. Chidlren were able to experience what it is like inside state-of-the-art emergency vehicles, with guided tours with real professionals who live the life every day. As you can see from the photos, learning can be a lot of fun when you have a huge moonwalk and free pizza for everyone.
On Friday, August 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., bring the kids and join us at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center to learn valuable safety tips from local police officers, fire fighters and public service workers during "Play it Safe Day". Children will experience and learn by exploring an on-site fire truck, ambulance, and Life Flight Helicopter, all present for the event.
Rescue and safety professionals will be there to give tours and answer questions. Fulshear Police will be present and providing child ID kits for parents who would like to register their children in their safety program. All guests will also enjoy free pizza, drinks, snacks and giveaways. It is sure to be an unforgettable event for children (and adults).
Fulshear is one of the few communities where you can upgrade your Tuesday nights by visiting downtown Fulshear’s one of kind street festival called “Tuesday Tunes”. Visitors relax and unwind from a busy day by having fun experiencing this lively festival designed to attract families to local businesses.
Each Tuesday from June 2nd through July 28th, a business on the downtown strip sponsors the music and activities for the evening-bringing a new pleasure every week. If you have a flair for fun you can jump in one of the open mic contests. The rest of the merchants offer special discounts to customers that shop during “Tuesday Tunes”.
LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch announces the return of it’s summer live jazz Thurday night concert series, Hot Nights, Cool Jazz, starting June 4 and continuing through July 30, 2009. Guests are invited to unwind after a long day (6pm-9pm) and ease into the weekend with the improvisational artistry of the area’s premier jazz musicians each Thursday.
Courtyard beverage service will be available from The Wine Next Door and Fish City Grill. Food and nonalcoholic beverages are available from any LaCenterra restaurant or specialty food retailer. All events are free and open to the public.
On Monday, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9182 (Katy, Texas) honored fallen servicemen and women with a taditional Memorial Day ceremony held at Magnolia Cemetery.
The ceremony started with a flag raising and speeches given by Katy Mayor Don Elder, Jr. and congessman Michael McCaul. Speeches were followed by a wreath-laying ceremony and 21-gun salute. Taps was played on the bugle at the end of the ceremony.
