Cross Creek Ranch Hosts Dec. 12 Holiday Hayride

December 07, 2015

Cross Creek Ranch and the Rotary Club of the Brazos River are turning back the clock to the charm of years gone by with an old-fashioned holiday hayride Dec. 12.

Those wanting to tour holiday lights of the Fulshear community can buy tickets for the hayride, which will have several departures starting at 6 p.m. and continuing until 10 p.m. Tickets purchased through Dec. 11 are $8 for adults and $5 for children, with event-day tickets costing $10 for adults and $7 for children. The hayride will depart from the Cross Creek Welcome Center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. All proceeds benefit community and international projects of the Rotary Club of the Brazos River.

“We will have just held our annual holiday lights contest in the community a few days before the hayride, so homes in Cross Creek Ranch will be decked out for the season,” said Rob Bamford, general manager of Cross Creek Ranch. “It will be a fun event for the entire family and certainly a worthy cause. We are happy to partner with the Rotary Club.”

In addition to the lights tour, event-goers can enjoy holiday refreshments, caroling and other entertainment. A raffle also will be held and children will be able to visit with Santa. Plus, a limited number of trailers will be available for a private, one-hour hayride. The trailers can accommodate up to 24 people and a musician will ride along to keep the mood festive.
