Italian Maid Café Adds Music to Summer Menu

May 05, 2016

Music, cuisine and libations are once again mixing for picture-perfect evenings out at Italian Maid Café in Cross Creek Ranch with the return of the Music on the Patio series.

The monthly summer concert series begins Saturday, May 7, when jazz guitarist Rom Ryan takes the stage 5-7:30 p.m. Other planned performances include:

  • Saturday, June 25: Guitarist Brian Rutledge, 5-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 23: Blues musician Randy Burns, 5-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 6: Guitarist and vocalist Dave Miley, 5-7:30 p.m.

“We introduced this series last year to much success,” said Lanie Alvarez, owner. “There is just something very special about dining outdoors on great food while listening to live music.”

Patrons can enjoy a varied menu including salads, entrees such as pecan-crusted chicken and the restaurant’s signature spaghetti and meatballs, and “crespelles” — savory crepes stuffed with meats, cheeses and vegetables.

Alvarez opened the Fulshear branch of her popular Richmond-based café in 2014.

“Italian Maid Café has become a fixture in Cross Creek Ranch for both residents and non-residents alike,” said Rob Bamford, general manager of the master-planned community. “Special events like these make dining out close to home even more special.”

Italian Maid Café is open in Cross Creek Ranch 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. It is located at 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane adjacent to the community information center. For more information on Italian Maid Café, visit www.italianmaidcafe.com.
