Active 55+ Bonterra Celebrates Grand Opening Aug. 20-21

Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch, the development’s new active 55+ community, will host a two-day grand opening celebration Aug. 20-21.

Taking place from 4-7 p.m., Saturday and 2-4 p.m. Sunday in the gated enclave, 5403 Golden Manner Drive, the free public event features whiskey tastings, live music, red and white wine, classic cars and assorted cheeses and hors d'oeuvres.

Guests also will have the opportunity to tour eight well-appointed model homes showcasing single-story home designs, ranging from 1,606 square feet to 2,878 square feet. Priced from the mid $200,000s, homes feature secluded master suites, spacious dining and living areas, secondary bedrooms and options for covered outdoor patios and Texas entertainment areas.

Bonterra is a welcome addition to Cross Creek Ranch’s family-oriented atmosphere, allowing grandparents to move closer to children and grandchildren while living in a community developed specifically around their interests.

Builder Taylor Morrison will offer a total of 702 homes in the community, many with lake views. In addition, future Bonterra residents will enjoy their own expansive clubhouse with a resort-style pool, fitness center, massage room, cards and billiards room, bocce ball and pickle ball courts. A full-time lifestyle director will plan resident-only activities.

Residents also will have access to Cross Creek Ranch amenities including the 6,000 square-foot fitness center, Adventure Island pool complex for the grandkids, Canine Commons dog park, and six months of unlimited cart rentals and a waived initiation fee to the Weston Lakes Golf Course, an 18-hole, private championship golf course.
