Help Us '€˜Stuff the Box'

Cross Creek Ranch is asking area residents to help brighten the holidays for local families in need.

Throughout the month, “stuff the box” donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Cross Creek Ranch community center lobby, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane, through Saturday, Nov. 19.

Collected items go to Katy Christian Ministries’ food pantry. The non-profit organization works to provide families in the in the Fulshear and Katy area with three days’ worth of nutritional, non-perishable food up to two times per month.

A variety of non-perishable holiday food items are needed, including pie filling, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy mix, canned green beans, Stove Top stuffing and Jell-O.

In addition to the food pantry, Katy Christian Ministries offers emergency financial assistance, a crisis center that houses the Domestic Abuse Center and the Sexual Assault Center, a resale store and two donation centers.

Cross Creek Ranch sponsors a number of charitable events throughout the year. Past events have included blood drives, festival fundraisers and charity runs. For more information about the Cross Creek Ranch lifestyle, click here.
