What’s New With Adams Junior High School?

April 17, 2019

As the 2018-19 school year nears completion and kids look forward to summer vacation, we are already planning for 2019-20 and the opening of our new on-site junior high school.

Adams Junior High School opens this August but the school already has a principal, a PTA, a mascot, school colors, a website and cheerleaders!

The mighty Vikings will be led by Principal Elisabeth Brodt. She comes to Adams from Seven Lakes High School where she was the associate principal. She began her career teaching orchestra to elementary through high school students. She later took a position at Cinco Ranch Junior High establishing their orchestra program. After four years there, she served the Beckendorff Junior High community as an assistant principal for seven years before becoming a principal at Seven Lakes.

In addition to wearing the yellow and blue for the first time, students will be focusing on creating a “Culture of Excellence.” Brodt envisions a school where expectations of being outstanding are nurtured by teachers and staff so students can build positive relationships, persevere through tough situations, and lead with integrity.

We’ll keep you updated on all things Adams as we get closer to hearing the school bell ring but for now, you can follow their Twitter account to see how it all comes together. Go Vikings!
