Cross Creek Ranch Earns Place Among Top 50

July 23, 2021

Cross Creek Ranch has earned a spot on the Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO) mid-year report for years. This year is no different. We are still one of the top 50 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation.

The recently released RCLCO report ranks our community No. 42. Buyers purchased 282 homes through the first half of this year — a 23 percent increase for those keeping track.

Buyers are drawn to our unique amenities, ones that are difficult to find in other communities. Take our gorgeous 50-acre Polishing Pond, for example. It provides a home for migratory birds and other wildlife, which our families love to keep an eye on as they stroll our boardwalk. It also filters water for reuse throughout our community for irrigation. More than 95 percent of the water used to irrigate Cross Creek Ranch is recycled. Talk about sustainability!

You might say nature is in our nature. We have 33 parks and playgrounds, acres of trees and wildflowers, 45+ miles of hike-and-bike trails and more than 350 acres of lakes to explore. And that’s not all! We have three pool complexes — one with an incredible 140-foot water slide, as well as a dog park, a sports park (for humans) and Italian Maid Café. When residents want to take their fitness routine indoors, there’s a 6,500-square-foot fitness center on-site and open daily.

Our kids benefit from two school districts. A large portion of the community is zoned to Lamar Consolidated ISD, which received a coveted A rating from the Texas Education Agency. The LCISD schools serving our kiddos are only a few minutes’ from our community. All of the schools — including brand new Roberts Middle School — opened within the past few years. Four highly regarded Katy ISD schools also are located within our community.

Cross Creek Ranch was not the only Johnson Development community to make the list. Sienna in Missouri City ranked at No. 26 with 344 new homes sold. Viridian in Arlington landed at No. 48 with 266 home sales and Woodforest in Montgomery placed at No. 49 with 265 homes sold.
