From frozen treats to Mediterranean cuisine, several new businesses have recently opened near Cross Creek Ranch with many more on the horizon—including a new Target store.

Venezuelan fast-casual eatery Pastel Pizza opened its fourth Houston location in May off FM 1463, serving up traditional Venezuelan street food.
For Mediterranean dishes like Tabboulé salad, hummus varieties and chicken Shawarma, head over to Mezze #1’s newest eatery and bar off FM 1093. The restaurant has opened a second location in Fulshear after serving just the Conroe community for the past few years.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice also opened earlier this year near Cross Creek Ranch to satisfy that sweet craving and beat the heat with something frozen.
Cross Creek Ranch residents will soon be able to enjoy plant-based bowls, smoothies and cold brew coffee from Playa Bowls yet to open nearby as well.
What’s more, Scoops, a Georgia-based ice cream and sweets shop, announced plans to bring its array of 32 flavors of homemade ice cream to Fulshear this fall as its first location in the Lone Star State.

With a wave of new businesses opening nearby, Cross Creek Ranch residents can also cut down time spent on errands with new options closer to home.
A new Target is anchoring the long-awaited Texas Heritage Marketplace, a 165-acre project by NewQuest Properties that’s bringing retail, dining, apartments and medical office space to the west Katy and Fulshear areas at the southeast corner of I-10 and Texas Heritage Parkway. An opening date for the major retailer hasn’t been announced. America’s Best Eyeglasses & Contacts, Milano Nail Spa, Aji Izakaya and EoS Fitness are also confirmed for Texas Heritage Marketplace, according to NewQuest’s property information.
Whataburger also confirmed last spring that a new location is coming to 29639 FM 1093, Fulshear, just south of Cross Creek Ranch. However, an opening date has not been shared.
To the south of Cross Creek Ranch, construction started on Fulshear Central, a new mixed-use development, on June 5, according to developer Janapriya Upscale USA. Although specific businesses haven’t been announced yet for Fulshear Central—located south of FM 1093 and Texas Heritage Parkway—the complex is anticipated to feature 70,000 square feet of retail space, more than 7 acres of parks and greenspaces, and more than 20 miles of interconnected trails.
Ignite Pilates and Steadfast Primary Care have recently opened within a short drive from Cross Creek Ranch, too. Celebree School of Cross Creek Ranch will open its new early childhood education center off Skyline Drive, and Serene Head Spa and Wellness is opening in Fulshear as well.
Architectural permits have also been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for businesses likely to open nearby Cross Creek Ranch, including Smoothie King, Discount Tire, CVS Pharmacy, McDonald’s and School of Rock-Fulshear, though the companies have not yet shared information on the new locations.
