Cross Creek Ranch Children Follow a Treat-Filled Trail

November 10, 2016

Cross Creek Ranch residents enjoy a number of fun-filled, resident-only events throughout the year and October was no exception, with a Trail of Treats to kick off their Halloween celebrations.

Nearly 600 mummies and daddies, as well as delightfully costumed boys and ghouls enjoyed the community’s annual Halloween festival, which featured DJ music, candy apples, cotton candy, bouncy houses, face painters, games and activities.

The highlight of the event was a spook-tacular trail offering candy, glow items and other goodies at each stop. Sixteen local businesses passed out candy at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center. A costume parade rounded out the event.

“The Trail of Treats is a fun, safe way for our children to start their trick or treating,” said Claire Perrott, lifestyle director for Cross Creek Ranch. “Our residents really enjoy getting together for these events, it’s what makes our community special.”

In addition to festivals, residents enjoy a full calendar of activities, including movie nights, classes and clubs. Cross Creek Ranch also sponsors community trips such as an opportunity to see the Houston Dynamos in action and browse the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market.
